Japan Rail & Bus Pass
A Japan Rail pass is issued to tourists for the purpose of sightseeing tourist or temporary visitor as stated on your passport. It is available as a 7, 14, 21 day pass. Please have your passport available for verification when buying your pass.
Inner Kyoto City Bus routes offer an unlimited travel ¥500 day pass card which is available from bus drivers, discount ticket shops and ticket vending machines. It’s called an “Ichi nichi josha ken”.
