Electric Voltage

Japan uses 100 volts, at 60 or 50 khz, with a 2 prong male plug which has no earth. Please bring an appropriate adaptor from your country if you plan to use your own electrical appliances. Also makes sure that your electrical appliances can function properly in Japan. Computers and most men's electric shavers will work, but becareful with hairdyers, telephone chargers and other chargers. Always check the voltage on the appliance first, before you plug it in.
